Head of Performance Marketing - Full Time - Hybrid, NYC Based.

This is a role with a DTC brand in the home and lifestyle space based around making the Jewish holidays joyous occasions. They design premium, thoughtfully crafted products and accompanying content that help customers bring meaningful traditions into everyday life. The business sells primarily through its own Shopify store and is entering an exciting phase of growth

The Role

We're looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to own the brand's growth engine. You'll set and lead the marketing strategy across acquisition, retention and DTC sales, spot new growth opportunities, and lead a small team. This suits a hands-on, commercially minded leader who is highly organised, comfortable working autonomously, and energised by a collaborative startup culture.

What You'll Do

Growth & Marketing

• Set the DTC marketing strategy and drive revenue growth through the brand's online store, overseeing paid ads and SEO to make sure spend is efficient and effective.

• Guide junior team members on content planning and creation across Instagram, TikTok, email and SMS.
\n
• Build, manage and improve automated lifecycle flows (welcome series, abandoned basket, post-purchase and more) to lift repeat purchase rate and retention.
\n
• Lead paid media across Meta and Google, with a sharp focus on ROAS and CAC.
\n
• Own the full Shopify funnel, including conversion rate optimisation and growing AOV.
\n
• Grow the email and SMS lists and deepen customer relationships to improve LTV and retention.

Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop the team so marketing hits or beats revenue targets, tracking both individual and team performance.
\n
• Build a supportive, motivated team culture focused on growth.
\n

Strategy & KPIs

\n
• Partner with finance and operations to define and monitor KPIs across revenue, new customer growth, community and engagement.
\n
• Work alongside product and internal teams on launches and new product development.
\n

• A strong eye for design and creative direction.

• Genuine connection to the brand's purpose and values.

• Natural leadership, with the ability to manage yourself, a team, agencies and external partners to deliver high-quality work on time.
